Betting on the River

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

River betting should only be done if you really have a strong hand or if you think your opponent has a weaker one. Aggressive players tend to call on the river whatever their hand might be. You can exploit this. Then again, they might have a good hand and you might lose the game.

Also, your image will tell your opponents how to play you as well. You can show a loose-aggressive image so that they will call you down lighter on the river. You must also use all the information before deciding to bet in the river.
