The flop was 2 of clubs 2 and 3 of diamonds. Serge is glad with his full house. One player raised and two players folded. The turn was 6 diamonds. Again a player raised and Serge and the other guy called. The river was a 3 of hearts. The guy raised and Serge went all in and both called. One guy had a straight 6 high. Serge showed his quad 3s. The winner had straight flush.

Phil Ivey started his poker career in 2002 at the age of 26. In that year alone, he had won a total of three WSOP bracelets. As far as high profile games go, Ivey is the most prolific player around. He is active on the WPT, EPT and the European Masters as well as other tournaments.

He has announced that he’ll be concentrating more on cash games in the future. This came as a surprise to some in the pro poker circuit. His most stunning win is with Andy Beal where he took home $16 million.

One of the most recognizable faces in professional poker, Scott Nguyen has been in the scene for a long time. It is also because he is always in every tournament and has been invited to numerous talk shows. Nguyen is open about his every aspect of his life. He admits that he made some mistakes along the way like gambling and drugs that have cost him a fortune. But he recovered from that and at present is a mainstay in the poker circuits. He has coined the term “that’s poker, baby”.

Every will be pressured of the blinds except for the chip leader. When you reach this stage, you must be more aggressive than before. Then you must mix up your play so that to confuse your opponents. Keep changing the way you bet but at the same time being aggressive at it.
