QQ are Canadian rockets, Canadian aces, or Siegfried and Roy. JJ is fishhooks or simply hooks. 88 are snowmen or doggie balls. 77 is the Sunset Strip. 66 is Route 66. 55 are presto or something called the speed limit. 44 is the Canadian presto. 33 are crabs while 22 are ducks. There is the AK or the big slick, AQ or the big chick, KQ or the suited marriage and a lot more.

Aces Drop to Threes

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

Carl is playing in a tournament when he drew pocket aces. He decided to slow play it and raise 100 chips pre-flop. Three players called. On the flop was 3-8-10 rainbow. Thinking his hand is strong, he went all in. Everyone folded except for one guy who had 3-8 off suit. The turn was a Jack and the river was a 3. Pocket rockets lost it for Carl.

Bad Beat Serge Will Never Forget

Serge has pocket threes. Serge thought he could lessen the field by bumping it up a bit. 5 players called. The flop was 2 of clubs 2 and 3 of diamonds. Serge is glad with his full house. One player raised and two players folded. The turn was 6 diamonds. Again a player raised and Serge and the other guy called. The river was a 3 of hearts. The guy raised and Serge went all in and both called. One guy had a straight 6 high. Serge showed his quad 3s. The winner had straight flush.
